PISTON GASKET REPLACEMENT

The Faemina Baby has a piston seal very particular, with an inner edge which must be inserted in the piston.

Finding an original seal is impossible, so I searched a U-cup seal adaptable

insert the gasket around the piston with the help of a screwdriver

 cut the inside edge of the gasket with a sharp utility knife, inclined 45 degrees

compared to new gasket, you will cut about half inside edge obliquely

insert again the gasket around the piston 

with a screwdriver, insert the inside edge in the groove, if the cut is not enough, repeat the operation by cutting another thin layer of rubber

this is the best system i have found, but if you find an alternative or better method, let me know and i will share the information

Craig from Australia suggested me to put the gasket upside down and works very well.
