La Pavoni has always engaged in making difficult maintenance activities and the protection of the sight glass is a good example.
The protection is provided with two protrusions that engage onto in two grooves in such a way that removing it is very difficult, so that even a simple cleaning is prevented by the difficulty to remove it from its seat.
Furthermore remove it in improvised manner increases the probability of breakage and leaves deep scratches on the boiler.
To remove without damage please follow these instructions:
protect the boiler with duct tape to prevent scratches and pry with a screwdriver near the upper nut
.
lock the protection already raised to prevent returns to the original position and pry near the lower nut
