1 – BOILER CAP
The boiler cap was
initially metal and tightened outside the boiler.
He suffered a substantial change in the first 70 years by changing screwing from external to internal boiler,
with thread made of brass.
At the end of 90 years was replaced filleting brass with cheaper plastic.
Too bad that with the excessive heat can melt the screw with leaking water and
possible damage to resistance.
