12 – PRESSURESTAT
The pressurestat is used to maintain constant pressure
in the boiler, breaking the power to heating element when achieved the right
pressure.
The correct value should be between 0.8 and 1.1
atmospheres.
It was introduced in 1974, the year of production of
the first Professional machine, it was then extended to model Europiccola only
in the early 90’s.
With its introduction has changed the heating element
from two to one filament, thereby
eliminating the two-position switch and the subsequent manual intervention from
the maximum to a minimum.
The model Mignon, produced only for the German market,
is still lacking.
