GAGGIA GILDA

october 1952 - 220 volt

The Gilda is the first lever machine patented and produced in Italy. Made entirely of aluminum, was publicized as an evolution of the old moka.

Is it a machine charming, elegant, unique and is the only machine which in my opinion should not be missing in a collection.

The patent dates back to April 1952 and is registered in the name of Brevetti GAGGIA Ltd.

The model shown was marketed by Caudano, a company specializing in catalog sales with shipping.
