The  Figli di  Silvio Santini, located in Ferrara, produced in the first years of 1900 steam pressure coffe makers in copper and nikel-plated iron. The water was heated by a spirit burner.

Particularity of this coffeemaker were the absence of seals and the characteristic logo "ORSO" (bear).
