"Raymond is the brand of home appliances "made in Italy " of Socomel Ltd, a company based in Naples and with factories in Italy and other European countries.
The brand Raymond was born in the mid 50s in the electronics sector, with production of radio and television.
It is then extended also to the household appliances sector and that of small appliances.
In the early 80s the brand was bought by Socomel, a company run by a team of managers who transfer their experience in industrial consumer and retailing to launch the initiative"

That the mark Raymond could lengthen the list of the lever coffee machines, was a situation unlikely, given the extreme rarity of these machines, but fate did not want it to end hidden in some basement, so I can afford to show to world wide.

The machine is clearly a clone of the most famous Gaggia Gilda second model and dating back to early 60s. Has open boiler and piston with spring, operated by two levers. Three small spheres adorn the levers and the cover.

There is a version branded Micron Express produced by the Celemax of Turin, with some minor aesthetic differences.

Presumably were produced few machines and is very rare to find.
